Website Design

A new website built around what your business needs now.

When a refresh is no longer enough, a clean rebuild can give the business a clearer structure, stronger presentation and better foundation for enquiries, content, ecommerce or future automation. I build focused business websites with defined scope, responsive design and practical handover.

Common website builds

Build the site around the business, the audience and the next action.

A new website should make the business easier to understand and easier to act on. The page count and features are scoped around what the site genuinely needs to do.

Service business websites

Clear home, service, about and contact journeys for consultants, agencies, professionals and other service-led businesses.

Small business websites

A practical web presence for businesses that need credibility, information, enquiry and a clear route for customers to take the next step.

New build

A useful website needs structure before decoration.

The build starts with what the site must communicate and what visitors should be able to do. Design, content hierarchy and technical setup then support that purpose.

Site structure and navigation

Define the core pages, menu hierarchy and visitor routes before the design becomes complicated.

Responsive page design

Create layouts that remain clear and usable across desktop, tablet and mobile screens.

Homepage and service pages

Present the business, offers and key calls to action with a clear visual and content hierarchy.

Forms and conversion paths

Connect the site to enquiry, quote, booking, signup or purchase actions where required by the project.

Brand implementation

Apply your existing logo, colours, typography and visual direction consistently across the site where those assets are available.

Launch and handover

Test the agreed pages and core visitor journeys, publish the site and explain the essential handover points.

How it works

A straightforward route from brief to launched website.

The site is scoped before it is built so page count, features and integrations do not drift halfway through the project.

01

Send the brief

Tell me about the business, the audience, the existing site if any, the pages you think you need and the main goal.

02

I define the structure

I review the requirements and identify the core pages, visitor routes, content needs and technical dependencies.

03

We agree scope

You receive the proposed deliverables, platform approach, price and expected turnaround before the build begins.

04

I build the website

I create the agreed pages, responsive layouts, forms and integrations using the approved direction.

05

Test & launch

I check the key pages and journeys, publish the agreed site and hand over the completed build.

What to send

Start with the business goal, not a list of design trends.

Send information about the business, target audience, current site if any, required pages, key services or products, brand assets, examples you like, required forms or integrations and your desired launch date. Existing copy is useful even if it still needs refinement.

FAQ

Before you request the website.

Do you build WordPress websites?

Yes. WordPress is a strong fit for many business and content-led website projects, and other suitable platforms can be considered when the requirements call for them.

How many pages are included?

There is no automatic page count. The site is scoped around the pages and functionality the business actually needs.

Do I need to provide all the copy?

Existing copy is helpful, but rough material can be organised during the project. Full copywriting can be scoped separately if substantial writing is needed.

Will the website be mobile-friendly?

Yes. Responsive design is part of the build rather than an optional extra.

Can you add ecommerce, forms or automation?

Yes, where those features are part of the agreed scope and the required platforms can be supported safely.

What if I only need the current site improved?

If the existing structure is still useful, Website Refresh may be faster and more cost-effective than rebuilding from scratch.

Send the brief, the current site if you have one and the result the new site needs to achieve. I’ll tell you what the build should include.
