Ecommerce Rescue

Something is broken between your product page and the sale. Let’s repair the buying journey.

Add-to-cart failures, checkout errors, broken product variations, payment or shipping problems and store features that suddenly stop working can block a customer at the worst possible moment. Send me the store URL and the failed journey. I’ll inspect the issue, define the scope and tell you the sensible next step.

Common rescue jobs

Ecommerce problems I can investigate and repair.

You do not need to diagnose the platform or plugin issue first. Show me the product or store journey, what the customer should be able to do, and where it fails.

Product and add-to-cart problems

Products that fail to add, broken quantity controls, missing options, variation errors or product-page functions that no longer behave correctly.

Focused repair

Fix the broken buying step—not everything around it.

Ecommerce Rescue is for a reproducible technical store problem. It does not automatically become a redesign, advertising project or broad conversion-rate optimisation exercise.

WooCommerce rescue

Repair focused WooCommerce problems involving products, cart, checkout, store emails, account pages, plugins or display behaviour.

Shopify and mainstream store troubleshooting

Investigate reproducible store issues on supported hosted ecommerce setups where the affected behaviour can be safely scoped.

Product and variation repair

Fix broken product options, variation selection, quantity controls and related catalogue behaviour.

Cart and checkout repair

Trace errors or unexpected behaviour between adding a product and reaching or completing the checkout flow.

Payment and shipping integration repair

Investigate technical failures in connected payment or shipping services without requiring you to diagnose the cause first.

Store integration troubleshooting

Repair focused failures involving email, analytics, automation, forms or other services connected to the store.

How it works

A short path from broken store journey to tested repair.

The goal is to reproduce the problem, isolate the affected step and test the customer journey after the fix.

01

Send the failed journey

Share the store URL, an example product if relevant, what the customer should be able to do, and where the process fails.

02

I reproduce the issue

I inspect the customer-facing behaviour and the evidence you provide before promising a particular repair.

03

We agree scope

You receive the proposed repair scope, price and expected turnaround before the work begins.

04

I make the repair

I fix the agreed ecommerce problem without changing unrelated parts of the store.

05

Test & hand over

I retest the affected journey and explain what changed, what was verified and any follow-up point you should know.

What to send

Show me the exact point where the buying journey breaks.

Include the store URL, a product or page example, the action the customer should be able to complete, what happens instead, any visible error message, and the device or browser if the issue is device-specific. Screenshots are useful where available.

FAQ

Before you send the rescue request.

Do I need to know whether the problem is WooCommerce, Shopify, a plugin or an integration?

No. Describe the failed customer journey. Identifying the likely technical cause is part of the rescue process.

Do you take small ecommerce repair jobs?

Yes. A single broken cart action, product variation, checkout step or store integration can be a focused rescue job.

Do you redesign stores as part of Ecommerce Rescue?

Not automatically. This service is for repairing a defined store problem. If the real need is a broader redesign, I’ll say so before the scope expands.

Will you place a real order or make a payment while testing?

Not as a default. I will use the safest practical test route for the problem and agree any special testing requirement before it involves a real transaction.

Will you need administrator access?

Sometimes, but not for the initial quote request. If access is required to diagnose or complete the repair, I’ll ask for the minimum appropriate access after scope is agreed.

What if the ecommerce problem turns out to involve several systems?

I’ll explain the wider dependency before expanding the job. Additional work is not assumed simply because the fault crosses more than one component.
